In Aid of Ardgowan Hospice | Friday 25th July 2025

Join us for a memorable day of golf, great company, and giving back, set against the backdrop of Mar Hall’s championship course.

Play alongside well-known personalities including Martin Compston, Gordon Smith, Jim Melrose, Andy Little, Craig McGinlay, Frank McAvennie, and Gordon Dalziel, as we come together to support the vital work of Ardgowan Hospice.

This exclusive event promises not only a fantastic golfing experience but also warm hospitality, friendly competition, and the chance to make a real difference.

Event Schedule:
11am | Arrival with breakfast rolls, tea and coffee 
1pm | Shotgun start (18 holes)
6pm – Two-course meal, followed by charity raffle and sportsman's dinner

Amber walls glow above oak panelling, offering a sense of calm the moment you step inside. Gold leaf detailing catches the light, playing gently across the black-and-white marble floor, a quiet nod to tradition, refreshed with modern grace. Curved, generous lounge seating now lines the room, with subtle silhouettes that echo our new quatrefoil identity. A place to pause, not simply pass through. Woven quietly into the architecture of Mar Hall is a symbol, a soft, clover-like shape known as the quatrefoil. At once familiar and timeless, it speaks to a deeper story embedded in the fabric of the estate. Its roots lie in the Gothic Revival, a movement that swept across Britain in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, an era that embraced a return to artistry, grandeur, and thoughtful design. It was a time when buildings told stories, every arch held intention, and every ornament was a language of its own. Around 1828, as Mar Hall’s story began, the quatrefoil appeared throughout the estate, from carved stone façades to vaulted ceilings, decorative plasterwork, and intricate wooden panelling. At Mar Hall, the quatrefoil is more than decoration. It’s a thread connecting past to present, tradition to transformation.
