How to Spa

The opening hours of treatment times may vary from time to time to suit demand
Booking
Please call in advance to reserve your preferred appointment and to discuss any special needs or questions you may have. We do require credit card details to hold your reservation and 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel your appointment or the full cost of your treatment will be charged.
Arrival
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment to allow yourself time to unwind before your treatment. We feel it is important to offer guests a reliable schedule, therefore treatment times cannot be extended for late arrivals.
Mobile Telephones: To ensure peace and tranquillity for all guests, we ask that your mobile telephone be switched off whilst in the Spa area. Telephone calls should only be conducted at the main Spa & Fitness Reception area.
Your Treatment
We want you to enjoy your Mar Hall experience to the full, so please communicate your specific expectations both before and during your treatment. This will enable your therapist to customise your treatment and achieve the results you desire.
Contra-Indications
Some treatments are not suitable for those with certain medical conditions or expectant mothers. It is therefore necessary to complete a health questionnaire upon your first visit to the spa. Please communicate any conditions you may have at time of booking so that we can advise on which treatments will be most suitable for you. If, however, you wish to discuss this confidentially, please request a private consultation with a therapist.
Please use the contra-indications guide below to ensure your chosen treatment is a suitable one. You may be asked to provide written permission from your doctor if you are contra-indicated to the treatment(s). If you are in any doubt, please consult with your therapist prior to booking your treatment.

What to bring
Swimwear, should you intend to use our heat/water facilities.
Contact lens solution (where applicable)
Open toed shoes (if having a pedicure)
Slippers – outdoor shoes are prohibited within the spa area.
Slippers and robes will only be provided to those guests who are on day packages. Slippers may be purchased at reception if required.
Smoking
Mar Hall operates a strict no smoking policy within the entire hotel and this extends to all areas of the Aveda Spa and Fitness Centre.
Alcohol
Alcohol must not be consumed within the spa or leisure area. Guests are welcome to visit the main hotel for drinks.
Children: Children under the age of 16 are regretfully not permitted in the Spa Area.
Gratuities
Rates for services do not include gratuities. Please inform Spa Reception if you wish to add a gratuity to your account.
Gift Vouchers
Whatever the occasion, the gift of wellbeing is only a phone call away. Call us with your credit card details and we will send your chosen recipient a Mar Hall Gift Certificate and Treatment Menu.
Corporate Packages
